Suspected world longest python has been killed in Kongor, Jonglei State

A giant python was killed by villagers in Jonglei state and its believed to be around 30 ft (9 Meters) long, 
and the world longest Python that still hold Guinness world recode was recorded in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. When measured on 12 October 2011, she was found to be 7.67 m (25 ft 2 in) long. Medusa also holds the current 'Longest Snake - Living (captivity)' title.

This is Suspected world longest python but unfortunately the snake has been killed in Kongor County, after deadly encounter with the villagers. 

The reticulated massive python, estimated to weigh about 400 pounds and 30 feet long, invaded a village from the nearby swamp, prompting the residents to stage fierce battle against the giant slithering reptile.

Our people still unaware of the value of these kind of rare creatures and that's why the ministry of wildlife have a long way a head to address the people of South Sudan specially the villagers about the importance of these animals and try to find the possible way to prevent the killing of rare animals. 

However, The department of wildlife conservation in South Sudan maintains silence over the death of the earth's rarest snake!
